Polaris has effective vibration-damping performance over a wide temperature range compared to conventional non-restrained damping materials that have been used so far. Additionally, by combining aluminum as a constrained layer, it exhibits vibration-damping performance over an even wider temperature range. Since the non-restrained damping layer is treated with an adhesive process, it is easy to install and results in a neat finish.
